So, who am i?

Hi, I’m Charlsie. A passionate freelance marketer by day, emoji enthusiast by night. With both agency and in-house experience, I’m specialized in out-of-the-box marketing, creative content strategies, and social media campaigns that may just make you go viral. I have experience working for major consumer facing brands such as Coca Cola, Intercontinental Hotels, CNN, and the best selling Christmas tradition, The Elf On the Shelf, as well as nonprofits and start ups.

While working at the North Pole with Santa Claus and his scout elves (all 6 million of them), the marketing and social media initiatives I spearheaded for The Elf on the Shelf were called a “marketing juggernaut” by The Atlantic

I’ve been featured by Fortune, CNN Money, Brit + Co, the Today Show, Good Morning America, The Daily Share, and Buzzfeed. I've written for The Huffington Post, HollywoodLife, Glamour, and USA Today

Born and raised as a Southern California girl, I landed in Roanoke, VA at Hollins University (a small women's college you've never heard of) for my B.A. in English and Creative Writing. After a whirlwind six years in Atlanta post-grad, I took a career leap and relocated to the Berkshires (that's Western Massachusetts), where I lead as an Assistant Director of Marketing/Senior Brand Strategist, overseeing advertising, social media strategy, and brand initiatives for the American university of yoga and renowned resort Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Currently, I'm a digital nomad taking on freelance work while traveling around the country.

When I’m not RTing gifs on Twitter or reading the latest Fast Company article, you can find me searching for the best cup of coffee, getting involved with local and national politics, practicing kundalini yoga, listening to my favorite podcasts, and voraciously reading. I love black licorice and analyzing data. Let's connect?
